"Orchid" Upholstered Armchair
Stunning fabric featuring purple orchids and greenery by Cole & Sons is the basis for this vintage chair’s redesign. In total, four different coordinating fabrics are used. The deep khaki green pattern created the custom welting on the piece. The original down-filled cushion was retained.
The attractive profile displays beautifully carved wood arms & legs painted in a custom two-toned pale green paint, coated with clear polyurethane. The frame was completely stripped; underneath the seat base is 8-way hand tied springs and all new upholstery.
